Perception Versus Reality
There are some very interesting studies out there that have disproved the myth that running at a flat speed is the most effective way to lose weight and drop body fat percentage. Many times we equate the look of how hard something is and it’s actual performance and think because something appears to be harder or takes more time that it is actually even getting you closer to your goals. A great example of this is if you ask the average person if you had to choose the best way to lose weight what would it be? The general population will answer that question pretty convincingly that cardio is the best way to lose weight. Running and sprinting are great and can really get you in great shape and define your body, but what if there was a better way to workout but it challenged your entire belief system? Would you do it? How would you feel about it? What is more important to you perception or reality?
